First post of the new year.

It is 10:13 pm - Minho is looking online for deals to build his new computer. Found some intriguing possibilities, but did not pull the trigger on anything except for a Logitech cordless keyboard and mouse for $30 on Amazon. This purchase is due to posture reasons related to our Ikea desk (which I love BTW). Miriam is cleaning the bathroom because she "can't stand it anymore." She also threw in a "who else is gonna do it?" Code: clean the stinkin bathroom once in awhile you jerk! Just kidding. She threw that out there as a joke, and was in quite a good mood while she was cleaning ... I think.

Someone at work mentioned that recent global events have been like that movie, The Day After Tomorrow. Someone else suggested to me last week that maybe all this rain that we've been getting in California is related to the earthquake and tsunami (you know the geological shifts and all that). It made me wonder - is Jesus coming back soon? I guess that thought always crosses my mind when there are those massive earthquakes - like that one in Turkey several years ago. Anyway, it just brings to mind the signs of the end times that Jesus talks about.

I also wanted to throw out an encouragement to anyone who reads my site (all 3 of you!) to give to a relief organization that's pitching in out in the affected areas. My bro said that it is the worst disaster in the last 40 years during a church announcement. There might not be another time in your adult life that a disaster of this magnitude might strike. If you can spare it, give.
